About
Planning tool, not a world exporter
Minecraft Build Mapper turns a photograph of a real-world building into a structured, Minecraft-friendly construction plan. It is designed as a serious creative design tool for builders who want dimensions, palettes, materials, elevations, and phased guidance before placing blocks.
What the MVP can generate
- Architectural analysis with uncertainties called out
- Recommended block dimensions and floor count
- Block palette grounded in PrismarineJS
minecraft-data(names, hardness, edition tags) - Estimated material quantities with stack conversion
- Floorplan, elevation, roof, detail, and terrain guidance
- Numbered construction phases with checkpoints
- JSON / CSV export and print-friendly output
- Façade review: building mask, floor lines, materials before generation
- User accounts with per-profile saved projects
- Project save, duplicate, delete, and revise flows
What it does not generate yet
- Actual 3D Minecraft schematics or worlds
- Litematica (`.litematic`) files
- Bedrock structure (`.mcstructure`) files
- Interactive 3D previews or layer diagrams
- Live Minecraft schematic (.schem) export
- Shared public gallery or collaborative editing
- OAuth providers (Google, Discord, etc.)
Demo mode
Without an OpenAI API key, the app stays fully usable. The View Demo button opens a prebuilt Cliffside Stone Manor plan, and the new-project form can generate a clearly labeled mock plan. The UI never silently pretends live AI analysis occurred.
